The Extension does NOT:
Sell user data
Share user data with third parties

The Extension uses Chrome permissions only to perform user-requested evidence captures.
Used to access the page the user chooses to capture.
Used to identify the current tab’s URL and title for documentation.
Used to inject minimal scripts into the active page to gather page content during capture.
Used to generate accurate page previews or MHTML capture files.
Used to store user settings locally on the device.
Used to notify the user when a capture succeeds or fails.
Used only to detect when a page has fully loaded before capturing.
Used in a passive, non-blocking mode to collect technical metadata needed for evidence integrity.
Used to generate screenshots and evidence previews without affecting the user’s visible browsing.
Required so users can capture publicly available content from any website only when they choose to.
The Extension does not use these permissions for tracking or automated data collection.
The Extension may retrieve configuration files or processing instructions from Veriscope servers to ensure accurate and compatible operation.
No remote code alters user browsing behavior or performs actions without user consent.
All transmitted data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard security protocols.
Captured content is stored only within the user’s Veriscope workspace under their authenticated organization.
